THE FOOTBALL DUGOUT FOR KIDS

Premier Predictor

Reckon you're the next English Premier League super pundit? Well then Footy Mania's Premier Predictor is the place to pit your predicting skills!

The Scoring

OVERALL PRIZE

Every week, you'll have the chance to guess the winner (or draw if you wish) and scorline of three key matches. Once the matches are over, you'll earn points for your predictions. This is how the scoring works:

  • 0 points: For not predicting the winner correctly (Predicting Man Utd will beat Chelsea but Chelsea wins)
  • 2 points: For predicting the winner, or draw correctly
  • 3 points: For predicting the winner and margin of victory correctly (Predicting Chelsea will win 2-1, but Chelsea wins 1-0. You can not get this selection of points for guessing a draw)
  • 5 points: For predicting the winner or draw scoreline correctly (Predicting Chelsea win 1-0 and Chelsea win 1-0)

You could win up to 15 points in a week, or none whatsoever if you've had a bad day.

There will also be bonus matches where double points are availabe. For example, if you correctly guess the scoreline and winner, then you will score 10 points instead of the usual five. However, these matches aren't that often as the bonus game feature is only for extremely important games in the league.

Sign up for Premier Predictor and you stand a chance of winning a football signed by goalscoring legend Ian Rush!

The overall winner of Premier Predictor will receive this football as the overall prize- so this is something you don't want to miss out on! So sign up for Premier Predictor today and get predicting, who knows, you may just get your hands on this brilliant prize!

The Leaderboards

Althogether, there are four leaderboards, titled Overall Leaderboard, Premier League, Championship and Club Compeition. Half of the players will be in the Premier League, the other half in the Championship. Every month, a winner of the Premier League will be announced depending on who is top of the league. The bottom three of the Premier League will be relegated to the Championship, and they will be replaced by the top three Championship players.

On top of this, an overall leaderboard, taking into account all the points that players have collected, will be tallied. This leaderboard will determine the overall Premier Predictor Champion at the end of the season, in May.

Finally, the Club Competition averages out the points of each club's supporters, to show which club has the best predictors. Clubs with one predictor have been put into a 'Best of the Rest' team.
